Gary Bunt at Stanley Spencer Gallery

WHAT A DREAM

6 November 2026 – 21 March 2027

When the idea of an exhibition at the Stanley Spencer Gallery was first raised, Gary Bunt’s response was immediate. ‘What a dream’. Gary set about painting a series of pictures especially for the exhibition.

The eight paintings he completed before his untimely death last year will be exhibited, along with some other works on loan, including Gary’s Tribute to Stanley Spencer which he painted in 2021. These will of course hang alongside works by Stanley Spencer.

Paintings are not for sale. Two sculptures and some sketches will also be on display.

A book and a limited edition print will be available.
